Four arrested in separate theft cases

The police have arrested Gagandeep Singh, alias Gaggi, Jograj and Vishal Kumar, all residents of Jujharnagar, for allegedly stealing a car and four alloy wheels on Saturday.
They were produced before the court and sent to two-day police remand. A case under Sections 379 and 411 of the IPC has been registered at the Balongi police station.
In another case, the police arrested Deepak Chaudhary of Maloya for a car theft in the Badhmajra area on February 2. The suspect also reportedly stole iron grills from the area. The police recovered the stolen goods.
He was produced before the court and sent to two-day police custody. Balongi SHO Gauravbans Singh said, “More revelations are likely after the questioning of the accused.” A case under Sections 380, 451 and 411 of the IPC has been registered at the Balongi police station.
