Giving details, she said the water level in the river stood at 6,000 cusecs today, which was quite less than its full capacity of 70,000 cusecs. As rainfall had been minimal today and floodgates of Sukhna Lake were not opened, there was no likelihood of any unusual increase in water discharge.
