As many as 4,973 students have registered online for various undergraduate and 6,047 for postgraduate courses for the academic session 2020-21 of Panjab University (PU) till date. The last date for submission of applications is August 8.

Prof RK Singla, Dean, university instructions, said, “This year, because of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, physical help desks have not been set up on the campus. For the convenience of students, mobile numbers along with email IDs of various departments have been uploaded on the university website.”

Meanwhile, the number of students, who filled their forms, but did not deposit fee, include 367 for undergraduate and 387 for postgraduate courses. Students, who completed their form and deposited fee, include 921 for undergraduate and 1,011 for postgraduate courses. In all, 1,288 students submitted their forms for undergraduate and 1,396 for postgraduate courses, respectively. — TNS
