Government Model Senior Secondary School (GMSSS), Sector 22, thrashed JSM Football Club by a huge margin of 8-0 in the Super League in the ongoing Khelo India Women’s Football League (U-17) at the Sector 46 Sports Complex.

Prabhneet opened the account in the first minute of play with a powerful grounder. The JSM lads gave some resistance, but it was again Prabhneet who scored the second goal in the 23rd minute. The winners were leading 2-0 at the breather. After the half-time interval, the GMSSS-22 girls pumped six more goals and sealed the fate of JSM FC. Sakshi and Nandini scored two goals each, and Khushi and Sanjana netted one goal each.

In the second match of the day, St Stephens School, Sector 45, edged past Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 21, 1-0.
