Mohali, March 3

Satvir Singh Dhanoa, who is a councillor and a social activist, was awarded by Governor VP Singh Badnore today for his contribution in the field of social welfare and health services.

Dhanoa received the award for his contribution in cancer care, blood donation and promoting cleanliness.

The Governor said a few people get a chance to serve society. He said Dhanoa is among those lucky persons.

Dhanoa said, “I am very thankful to residents, administration and cultural socities of the city.”

He added that he will continue to the needy.
