Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria today reviewed the ongoing restoration work of Diwan Todar Mal Haveli. He interacted with the office-bearers of Diwan Todar Mal Heritage Foundation and also discussed the construction methodology and materials being used.

The Governor appreciated the efforts of the foundation for its effort to connect the coming generations with history. Kataria also paid obeisance at Gurdwara Fatehgarh Sahib. The foundation members, led by president Lakhwinder Singh Kahne Ke, honoured the Governor.

He said the work to restore the ancient look of the Jahaz Haveli and preserve the entire history related to Diwan Todar Mal was going on continuously.

Deputy Commissioner Dr Sona Thind, SSP Shubham Agarwal and SDM Arvind Kumar Gupta were among those present on the occasion.
