The Government Model Senior Secondary School (GMSSS), Sector 22, won the girls’ U-17 inter-school football tournament. The Sector 22 team defeated St Stephen’s School, Sector 45, by a margin of four goals. Khushi starred in the team’s win. She posted a brace (13th, 18th), followed by a goal each by Manshi (21st) and Vanshika (34th) to help the side log the title win. Carmel Convent School, Sector 9, claimed the third position by logging a 2-0 win over GMSSS, Dhanas. Gitanshi (14th, 27th) netted both goals.

Meanwhile, GMSSS, Sector 16, won the boys’ U-19 volleyball inter-school event by defeating DAV Senior Secondary School, Sector 8. The Sector 16 team faced a tough competition before logging a 25-17, 25-11, 25-18 win over the Sector 8 team. GMSSS, Sector 26 (TM) claimed the third position by posting a 25-9, 25-18, 25-14 win over Guru Nanak Khalsa Senior Secondary School, Sector 30.

The GMSSS, Sector 33, won the girls’ final by defeating the Sector 30 team 25-10, 25-13, 22-25, 25-8. New Public School, Sector 18, finished third as they logged a 25-6, 25-20, 25-20 win over the Government Girls Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 18.

Sri Guru Gobind Singh Collegiate Public School, Sector 26, won the girls’ U-17 inter-school badminton meet. The Sector 26 team logged a 2-1 win over Sri Guru Gobind Singh Senior Secondary School, Sector 35.

Ashiana School, Sector 46, finished third by logging a 2-1 win over St Anne’s School, Sector 32. DAV School, Sector 8, won the girls’ U-17 inter-school tennis event by logging a 2-0 win over Sacred Heart School, Sector 26. Carmel Convent School, Sector 9, recorded a 2-1 win over Gurukul Global School to finish at third position.
