The Master of Social Work (MSW) students from the Faculty of Social Work, MS University, Vadodara, Gujarat, along with their faculty members, Dr Kavita Sindhav and Nayan Prajapati, visited the Centre for Social Work, Panjab University, Chandigarh, for an enriching cultural and academic exchange programme.

The visitors were warmly welcomed by Prof Monica Munjial Singh, Chairperson, Centre for Social Work and Dr Gaurav Gaur, faculty member at Panjab University. The event witnessed the presentation of various activities and programmes by students of Centre for Social Work, Panjab University, Chandigarh.

MSW students Manisha, Rajinder and Garima from Panjab University showcased a video highlighting the internships, rural camps and other initiatives such as the signature event “Tarang,” which embodies the essence of experiential learning at the Centre for Social Work.

In a delightful cultural exchange, students from both universities performed traditional Punjabi and Gujarati dances, showcasing the vibrant heritage of their respective regions.

Prof Simrit Kahlon, Dean of Student Welfare (Women), Panjab University, graced the occasion as the chief guest. In her address, she applauded the students for their enthusiastic participation and shared insights into the rich heritage of Panjab University, inspiring the students to engage in diverse cultural and academic collaborations.
