Gurvinder Kaur of PAG (Audit) Punjab defeated Shikha of PAG (Audit) Haryana in a closely contested final of the women’s 40 years category, during the ongoing three-day North Zone Table Tennis Tournament of Indian Audit & Accounts Department, at the Sector 23 TT Hall. Gurvinder logged a comeback win 7-11 9-11 11-7 11-8 11-5 over her rival.

Radha Tiwari from Uttar Pradesh won the women’s 50 years final by defeating Abha Pandey 11-9 11-7 7-11 5-11 11-9. Sunil Ahuja of Punjab defeated Amit Srivastva of Uttar Pradesh 11-7 12-10 12-10. Joginder Singh Bisht defeated Sham Kumar 11-4 11-6 11-7 to win the men’s 50 years title. Saniya Sehgal and Vidushi Vats of Delhi won the women’s doubles final by defeating Tamanna Saini and Gurvinder Kaur 6-11 11-3 11-6 11-9.

In the men’s team finals, AG (Audit) Delhi beat PAG (Audit) Punjab 3-0. Harsh won the first match by defeating Abhivan Belwal 11-2 14-16 11-5 11-9, while Shivjit overpowered Sunil Ahuja 11-6 11-9 11-4. Sarthak won the last match by defeating Naksh Mehra 11-7 11-5 11-3.

In the women’s singles semifinals, Anjali Rohilla of Delhi defeated Suhana Narjinary of Uttar Pradesh 11-7 10-12 11-6 11-9 11-8, while Tamanna Saini of Punjab ousted Gladlyn Flora 5-11 11-7 11-7 11-5 5-11 3-11 11-8.
