Guv reconstitutes Administrator’s Advisory Council

The Administrator is the chairperson of the 54-member council. The term of the council will be of two years from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2026. This time, the council has been scaled down from 59 members to 54.
Prominent members of the council include MP Manish Tewari, former MP Kirron Kher, MC Mayor, Satnam Singh Sandhu, member Rajya Sabha, presidents of various political parties, PGI Director, Chandigarh Commission for Protection of Child Rights chairperson, ex-chief secretaries of Haryana and Punjab, NZCC, Patiala, Director among others.
Surprisingly, names of former MP and Additional Solicitor General of India Satya Pal Jain, BJP leader Sanjay Tandon, RK Saboo, chairman, KDDL Ltd, have not been included in the list.
