Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij today said around 1 lakh national flags would be unfurled as part of “Har Ghar Tiranga” drive in Ambala Cantonment.

The minister held a meeting of BJP workers at BPS planetarium in Ambala Cantonment this evening and assigned duties to the party workers.

Vij said: “Various programmes will be organised as part of the campaign. A tiranga yatra will be organised on August 11 and prabhat pheri will be taken out at the ward level on August 12 and 13. The party workers will carry the national flags only during the yatra and prabhat pheri. A silent march will be organised on August 14 as part of Vibhajan Vibhishika Smriti Diwas to pay tributes to the people who lost their lives during the partition. The national flag will be unfurled on August 15.”
