The UT Administration is set to actively participate in the nationwide ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign to be held from August 2 to 15, as part of the broader celebrations commemorating India’s 79th Independence Day.

At a meeting chaired by UT Chief Secretary Rajeev Verma, plans were finalised to ensure impactful implementation of the campaign across the Union Territory. Government buildings, educational institutions and public spaces will be adorned with Tiranga-themed installations and visuals. Exhibitions curated by the Ministry of Culture will be showcased at 79 locations. A variety of programmes, including patriotic rallies, concerts, competitions and thematic workshops, will be organised.
