Haryana’s Ankur beat Neeraj Kumar of Delhi to set up the title clash with Ahmadabad’s SG Solanki in the men’s 57kg category on the opening day of the All India Civil Services Wrestling Championship at the Indoor Sports Complex in Mani Majra here today.

Solanki got the better of Madhya Pradesh’s Ramchandra in the semis.

In the 61kg class, Haryana’s Sandeep outwitted Delhi’s Shiraj, while Mohd Sidiqqui of Telengana prevailed over Jaipur’s Sambhu.

Rajinder from Haryana and Delhi’s Virender Singh marched into the finals in the men’s 65kg weight category. While Rajinder humbled Dharam Singh of Telangana in the semis, Virender downed Gujarat’s Arun Bhai.

Kuldeep and Pawan will lock horns in the men’s 70kg title bout. In the semifinals, Haryana’s Kuldeep beat Delhi’s Rohtash, while Pawan, also from Delhi, toppled Jaipur’s Chandermal.

In 79kg semifinals, Haryana’s Krishan humbled Uttar Pradesh’s Sunil, while Manjeet from Faridabad downed Delhi’s Rohit.

Kulbir from Haryana thrashed Delhi’s Rahul in the 86kg semifinals. In the final, he will face Delhi’s Jaibir, who beat MA Jadeja of Ahmadabad in the last-four battle.

In the 92kg class, M Shekhar of Telangana beat Himachal Pradesh’s Sanjay Kumar to set the final date with Haryana’s Pardeep Kumar, who beat Pavan in the semis.
