Haryana prepares for ‘Jal Shakti Abhiyan’ launch on March 22
Haryana Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi conducted a review meeting with Deputy Commissioners via video conferencing to discuss preparations for the national event, “Jal Shakti Abhiyan – Catch the Rain”, scheduled for March 22 at Tau Devi Lal Stadium in Panchkula.
Rastogi issued necessary instructions for the smooth conduct of the event, which will be launched by Union Minister of Jal Shakti CR Patil and Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar.
The Chief Secretary directed Deputy Commissioners to encourage participation from progressive farmers, women, and individuals who have contributed significantly to water conservation. The event aims to promote water conservation and raise awareness about sustainable water management practices.
