Basketball and judo coaches were absent. According to sources, both the coaches are on a leave.

The Sports Minister instructed the officials that except athletics players nobody else should be allowed to move on the track.

A section of players informed Singh about the problems being faced by them. He also interacted with the coaches as well and sought their inputs.

A few days ago, players had accused the District Sports Officer of not allowing them to practice on athletic track. Soon the matter reached the Sports Minister as well.

Sandeep said his objective would be to provide maximum facilities to players so that players from Haryana can excell further in national and international games.

He warned that a departmental action would be taken against coaches who would perform their duty honestly.

He also inspected a Table Tennis Centre being run at Gurukul School, Sector 20, and Gymnastics Centre at Manav Mangal School, Sector 11, Panchkula. Only two players were found at the table tennis nursery and six players were found at the gymnastics nursery.
