Hassan, Tuba make it to final of carrom meet

Chandigarh, June 12

Mohammed Hassan and Tuba Sehar entered into the final of the men’s and women’s category, respectively, in the ongoing 1st Online Carrom Tournament, today.

Hassan defeated Gagandeep, while Tuba ousted Sanya Chadha in the semi-finals. Hassan scored 39 missing points against Gagandeep’s 60 missing points, while Tuba scored 53 missing points against Sanya’s 75 missing points. Gagandeep and Sanya finished third in the tournament.

Earlier, in the men’s singles semi-final, Gagandeep managed a close win with 65 missing points against Gopal Kakkar’s 69 missing points to enter into the 2nd round of semis. In the women’s singles, Sanya thrashed Sangini Mamgain in a one-sided clash by scoring 63 missing points against 106 missing to gain into the second semis.
