Chandigarh, January 10

Prof Bhupinder Singh Bhoop, UIPS, chaired a press conference regarding the forthcoming Global Health Care ICONICA-2020 Conference here today.

The conference was convened by Prof Kanwaljit Chopra, Chairperson, UIPS, and Prof Jagat Bhushan.

This international interdisciplinary conclave is scheduled to be held on February 12 to 14 on ‘Next-Gen Paradigms in Healthcare’. It will bring together the international community working in diverse domains of healthcare. Over a score of renowned international scientists and health professionals from countries such as the USA, UK, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Sweden, France, Dhaka and Dubai have already confirmed their presence.

More than 800 delegates from across the globe are likely to participate in the deliberations.

The registration fee was recently reduced from Rs 2,000 to Rs 1,500.

Various departments of the PU are involved in organising the mega event (Annexure-III).
