The upcoming national conference on “The Landscape of Technology in Courts in India and the Way Forward” to be hosted by the Punjab and Haryana High Court promises to be a significant event in the evolution of judicial technology. Scheduled for August 10 and 11 at the Chandigarh Judicial Academy, the conference will address critical topics such as the use of artificial intelligence (AI) to improve court efficiency, the challenges and opportunities associated with its implementation, and steps to ensure judges are well-acquainted with the latest technological advancements.

The conference will be inaugurated by Chief Justice of India Dr Justice Dhananjaya Y Chandrachud with Supreme Court Judges Justice Surya Kant, Justice Rajesh Bindal and Justice Augustine George Masih also participating in it. Their presence underscores the event's importance and its focus on shaping the future of judicial technology.
