Hit by vehicle, motorcyclist killed in Chandigarh
Chandigarh, July 13
In a hit-and-run case, a 45-year-old man riding a motorcycle was killed, while the pillion rider was injured after the mobike was hit by an unknown vehicle.
Complainant Dinesh Yadav, a resident of Maloya, reported that he, along with his friend Ranveer Singh, was going from Sector 31 to Sector 32 on July 11. While crossing the Sector 31/32 light point, a speeding car coming from the Sector 31/32/29/30 roundabout side jumped the red light and hit the bike. Both victims were injured and rushed to the GMCH where Ranveer was declared brought dead. — TNS
