ABVP releases poll manifesto

Chandigarh: Panjab University’s Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) unit released its manifesto during a press conference on Sunday, as the campus is set to go into election mode. The ABVP demanded to make a rotational reservation for girls’ representation in PU student council on a permanent basis every year. AC in all classes, separate hostels for transgenders, research scholars, early recruitment of permanent teachers, family quarters for married research scholars etc, were some of the major demands.
