“Both aircrafts were isolated upon landing. All passengers were safely disembarked,” airline officials said.

IndiGo flight 6E 108 departed from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at 10:37 am and touched down in Mohali at 12:46 pm.

An information was received of a bomb on the Chandigarh-bound flight after which the bomb disposal squad, CISF, Mohali police and dog squad launched a joint operation. Mohali SSP Deepak Pareek reached the spot and led the team. According to protocol, fire tenders, ambulances and other emergency services were ready for action.
