The Estate Office has sealed an illegal zinc electroplating unit at Raipur Khurd village in the city.

In a complaint to the SDM (East), the Member Secretary, Chandigarh Pollution Control Committee, stated that a zinc electroplating unit was being run illegally in the village. Acting on the complaint, the SDM directed the Estate Office to seal the unit immediately. — TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
