District Town Planner Sanjay Narang said prior permission from the Director, Town and Country Planning Department, Haryana, is mandatory before carrying out any construction or developing a colony. He cautioned that strict legal action will be taken against anyone found developing illegal constructions or colonies without due approval.

The District Town Planner further appealed to the general public not to undertake any construction or development work without obtaining CLU (Change of Land Use) or licence permission from the department.
