Immigration agent booked
Chandigarh: The UT police have booked an immigration consultant on charge of cheating. A resident of Phase XI , Mohali, reported that Ravinder Singh and others, who run an office in Sector 17, allegedly cheated her of Rs 80.63 lakh regarding visa. A case has been registered at the Sector 17 police station.
Pedestrian hurt in accident
Chandigarh: A pedestrian was injured after being hit by a scooter. A resident of Sector 9, Panchkula, alleged that her husband, Man Bahadur, was hit by a scooter near the Raipur Kalan barrier. He was admitted to the Civil Hospital, Panchkula. The police have registered a case against scooter rider, Rinku, at the Mauli Jagran police station.
