Zirakpur: The police have booked a maid in connection with a theft of Rs45,000 and some jewellery from a flat at Maya Garden City here. The suspect has been identified as Mehsin Begum, alias Shabina, who is at large.

Girish Kapoor, said his family had gone to Vrindavan. When they returned home on Monday, they found the house ransacked. The housemaid was employed with the family for the past six years. On a complaint by the victim, a case of theft has been registered. — TNS
