Chandigarh: Five miscreants snatched a mobile phone and a purse from a Sector 40 resident. Complainant Gunj Bahadur reported that the suspects snatched his belongings near Sectors 39/40 light point. The police were informed about the incident following which a case was registered at the Sector 39 police station. TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
