Mohali, August 12

Incessant rain on Wednesday led to waterlogging and road cave-in various areas in Mohali.

Water got accumulated in from of the Community Health Centre in Phase 3B-1.

Pedestrians had to wade through knee-deep water to enter the health centre.

Sukhdeep Kaur, a local resident, said, “It was quite difficult to enter the Community Health Centre. Senior citizens and kids faced harrowing time.”

At Phase-7, a traffic signal malfunctioned as road caved-in due to rain. For couple of hours, the traffic signal leaned dangerously on the road.

Numerous low-lying areas and parking lots got submerged in rainwater.

Pedestrians and two-wheeler drivers were the worst affected as they had to wade through knee-deep water.
