Puneet Singh, president, Inner Wheel Club, Chandigarh, today handed over 700 packets of sanitary napkins, 400 masks and 288 bottles of sanitisers to Mayor Raj Bala.

The club had previously distributed 200 dry ration bags to the needy families in Mani Majra, in slum areas of Saketri, Khuda Ali Sher, Roorki Kham and Takpur villages, said Usha Saboo, a senior member of the club.

Besides dry ration, the club had been distributing cooked food to about 600 persons through gurdwara in Khuda Ali Sher. It had also donated Rs 1 lakh to the PGI for medical equipment.
