BJP national president and Union Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda expressed his condolences over the passing away of Brijpal Tandon, mother of Sanjay Tandon, former state president of city BJP and co-incharge of BJP, Himachal Pradesh.

Nadda visited Tandon’s residence to pay his respects. He stated that the loss of Brijpal Tandon is not only a personal tragedy for the family, but also a significant loss for society, which has lost a courageous and inspiring figure.

He emphasised the invaluable contributions of her late husband Balram Ji Das Tandon to the party, while also recognising Brijpal Tandon’s unwavering support.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
