Haryana’s Jasmine Kaur stunned top seed Snigdha Patibandla of Assam to confirm her berth in the girls’ U-18 quarterfinals during the ongoing CLTA-AITA National Series Tennis Tournament at the Sector 10 sports complex.

Jasmine logged a straight sets 6-4, 6-1 win over the top seed to march ahead in the championship. Second seed Punjab’s Rubani Kaur Sidhu also moved ahead by logging a 6-2, 6-2 win over Bihar’s Hansika Singh, while Satakshi Choudahary of UP defeated Radha Sadhra of Himachal Pradesh after a keenly contested match 6-7(5), 6-2, 6-1.

Third seed Punjab’s Tamanna Walia easily defeated Priyanshi Kaital 6-2, 6-1, while Haryana’s Sherry Sharma ousted Delhi’s Vaishnavi Singh 7-6(8), 7-5. Mahika Khanna of UP easily overpowered Princy Mandagalia of Telangana 6-4, 6-4, and Delhi’s Mansi Singh defeated Punjab’s Shrawasti Kundilya 6-0, 7-6(4). Haryana’s Dhatri Dave also moved ahead by defeating Pratishtha Saini 6-0, 6-0.
