Chandigarh: A 16-year-old boy was apprehended by the UT police for allegedly stealing a motorcycle. Ashwani in his complaint to the police had reported that his motorcycle that was parked near the Community Centre at Sarangpur village was stolen. A case was registered in this regard and later a minor was apprehended, said the police. The boy was sent to Juvenile Home in Sector 25, said the police. TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
