After Mann was grilled by locals regarding the pending works, the MLA called up Jindal and other officials to the spot and took up the matter with them. Mann questioned Jindal about the unauthorised construction which have not been removed despite her instructions and the pending road repair work.

Jindal expressed his helplessness apparently due to the boundations of laws to which Mann said, “This is not our father’s money but public money. No officer or politician is bigger than public. Why are you not carrying out the developmental works? Rs 400 crore has been granted for Kharar. Kundli maar ke kyun baithe hon paise te...,” she said as other officers diffused the volatile situation.
