Former minister and Kharar MLA Anmol Gagan Maan, who created quite a furore last month, when she announced her resignation as MLA and the decision to quit politics, which she later reversed, has now been removed as member of the Vidhan Sabha Committee on Questions and References. She has been replaced by Rajpura MLA Neena Mittal. This is an all-women committee, headed by Inderjeet Kaur Mann, the MLA from Nakodar. Sources said this was a routine adjustment in Vidhan Sabha committees. It indicated that she might be nominated to the Committee on Petitions soon, in place of Dr Kashmir Singh Sohal, Tarn Taran MLA who passed away recently.Meanwhile, former NRI Affairs Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal has been nominated as member of the Committee on Public Undertakings, in place of Dr Sohal.
