Anju Chander assumed office of the Kharar Municipal Council (MC) president today in the presence of Local Government Minister Dr Ravjot Singh, Dr Gurpreet Kaur, wife of Punjab Chief Minister, and local MLA Anmol Gagan Mann.

Dr Ravjot Singh congratulated newly elected MC president Anju Chander. He said Anmol Gagan Mann got approval for Rs 100-crore canal water supply project from Kajauli Water Works for development of Kharar. He said she also upgraded the city’s power infrastructure at a cost of Rs 30 crore.
