Khooni Majra to get extension centre for central tool room

The topic of mechatonics with the inter-coordination of electronics, mechanical and IT sector was discussed

A joint meeting of officials from the Government Polytechnic College Khooni Majra, Central Tool Room, Ludhiana, and industrialists from the city was held to discuss the setting up of a Central Tool Room Extension institute.

The idea comes as part of a special initiative of Amit Talwar, Director, Department of Technical Education and Industrial Training, Punjab.

Officer-in-charge of institute Khooni Majra, Civil Engineering, Gurbakshish Singh Antal said the meeting was conducted under the leadership of Additional Director Technical Education Ravinder Singh Hundal and Principal Raksha Kiran to get suggestions on the extension centre’s courses, curriculum, co-ordination with industrial units, technical needs and new horizons of industry in Mohali area.

The topic of mechatonics with the inter-coordination of electronics, mechanical and IT sector, meanwhile, was discussed.
