Khuda Ali Sher boys lift Kabaddi Cup
The Khuda Ali Sher team beat Baba Gazi Das Dhanori in the final of the Kabaddi Cup at Mullanpur Garibdas in New Chandigarh.
As many as 45 teams participated in the competition. The winning team was awarded the first prize of Rs 1 lakh and the runner-up walked away with Rs 75,000 prize money.
Deep Daburji scored 18 points in 20 games was declared the best raider of the day. Sarna Dabormana was adjudged the best stopper. They both were awarded a motorcycle each.
The cup, dedicated to the birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh, was organised by wrestler Vinod Sharma Golu and social worker Ravi Sharma.
