Chandigarh Kings continued their winning streak in the Chandigarh Premier League T20 by posting a seven-wicket victory over Talanoa Tigers at the Sector 16 stadium.

Batting first, Tigers posted 141/8 in 20 overs. Wicketkeeper Mayank Sidhu (40) and Jashan Beniwal (33) were the key contributors. Rohit Dhanda (3/27) remained the pick of the bowlers, supported by Ishaan Garg (2/22) and Raman Bishnoi (2/28).

In reply, the Kings’ batting line-up looked in complete control as skipper Sanyam Saini posted an unbeaten 49 off 20 balls. Shivam Bhambri (38) and Raman Bishnoi (29) were the other main contributors.

Altruistian bounced back strongly in the league by registering a dominant seven-wicket victory over Dr Morepen Dazzlers. Batting first, Dazzlers posted 123/9 in 20 overs. Dipender Kush (26) and Bhagmender Lather (25) were the main scorers for the side. Aryan Duggal (4/31) claimed the maximum wickets for the bowling side. Nikhil Sharma claimed 3/36. In reply, Altruistian skipper Manan Vohra anchored the chase with a 50 off 40 balls. His innings was supported by wicketkeeper-batter Sanchit Sahu (35 off 24 balls) and Pardeep Yadav’s (25 off 16 balls).
