Chandigarh: Returning after over one year to the city, local MP Kirron Kher will cast her vote on Friday. Through a video, Kirron said during the Congress rule, the then MP, Pawan Kumar Bansal, had brought the Jaypee company for setting up a waste processing plant, which did not work and gradually led to piling of waste at the dumping ground in Dadu Majra. Replying to her, Bansal claimed the garbage processing plant was working at the time of the Congress. The dump was almost at ground level. He said the BJP MP did nothing during her seven-year tenure. —TNS
