A labourer died after falling off the roof of a pipe-making industrial unit on Gulabgarh road, Dera Bassi, this morning. The victim Suhail, a native of Saharanpur, had taken the job just a around a week ago. His kin alleged that the contractor, the owner and the co-owner of industrial unit forced the youth to climb atop the roof against his will and did not provide him a safety helmet or belt.
