Advocates of the District Courts, Sector 43, Chandigarh, have come out in support of the ongoing farmers’ protest. In a protest march, a convoy of over 200 cars of advocates moved from the District Courts and proceeded to Sector 17 today under the leadership of president of the Bar Association Bhaag Singh Suhag to express their solidarity with the farmers. — TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
