In fray from different political parties, candidates have their hands full on areas to visit and people to meet to seek votes. As such, Congress candidate Chander Mohan today visited several areas of Barwala. He visited Bator, Bhareli, Sultanpur, Sangrana and Kami villages, along with Sector 15 and other areas in Panchkula.

Similarly, BJP’s Gian Chand Gupta held a conference with businessmen in Panchkula. He said the business class during the Congress rule was troubled, but during the BJP’s rule they were provided facilities which ended the Congress’ domineering rule. Gupta said he had done countless works in the field of education and brought an ITI, a polytechnic and engineering college, a government medical college and the national institute of fashion technology to Panchkula. He assured attendees that in his third term, he would work to fulfil demands of the traders on priority. He was joined by national president of All India Udyog Vyapari Mandal Sandeep Bansal, former chairman of Vyapari Kalyan Board, Haryana Bal Krishna Agarwal and Mayor Kulbhushan Goyal, among others.

Aam Aadmi Party’s Prem Garg held a public outreach campaign in Sector 9, Industrial Area Phase 1, Ratewali and Haripur villages, among other areas, today. Garg assured the residents of developing the city and surrounding areas. He said, “For the last 10 years, Panchkula’s residents have been struggling due to a lack of development. People in the Industrial Area have expressed concerns about the roads having more potholes than pavements.”

He said the AAP was committed to the development of people and guaranteed to transform Panchkula into the “Paris of Haryana.”

Apart from visiting other areas, the Congress’s candidate, Chander Mohan, met people of the Agarwal community on Monday. Founder of Agarwal Sabha Satya Kumar Gupta, president of Sanatan Dharma Charitable Trust, Panchkula, Laxmi Chand Garg and chairman of Mata Mansa Devi Godham, Panchkula, Naresh Mittal were among the people who met Chander Mohan. He assured them that after winning the elections, they would soon hold elections of the Agarwal sabha. Chandra Mohan, meanwhile, held 12 public meetings. In his meetings, he discussed people’s problems and assured them of helping them as soon as possible after winning the elections.
