Lecture series to mark PEC's100 years of inception

Chandigarh, January 20

Punjab Engineering College (PEC) will organise centenary lecture series in which eminent national/international speakers will be resource persons in order to celebrate completion of 100 years of its inception.

The Electronics and Communication Engineering Department of PEC will organise the “Inter-college annual entrepreneurship summit” and IGNITE – “Annual business idea competition” from April 9 to 10.

An “International conference on emerging trends in science and technology” will be organised by the Applied Sciences Department of PEC from April 20 to 21.

The Electronics and Communication Engineering Department of PEC will organise “International conference on optoelectronics and communication” in collaboration with the CSIO and SPIE from July 18 to 20.

The Metallurgical and Materials Engineering Department of PEC will organise “International conference on advanced materials, metallurgy and manufacturing” (ICAMMM), from September 7 to 9, followed by “Perspective 2022: International conference on futuristic computing and communication.”

The Electrical Engineering Department of PEC will host a lecture on “Smart and sustainable energy systems” in October. The Civil Engineering Department of PEC will organise “International conference on hydraulics, water resources and coastal engineering” (HYDRO – 2022), from December 22 to 24.
