The local men’s kick boxing team won nine medals in the recently concluded 13th Senior and 12th Junior National Kickboxing Championship, at Nashik (Maharashtra).

Anmol, Aman Goyat, Akshat, Lakshay, Brijesh and Tanishq Walia won gold medal each in their respective events, while Gourav Kamboj and Nishu won silver medal each. Mohit Kamboj claimed the bronze medal.

The top performers of this championship will now attend probable’s camp for selecting Indian team before participating in the World Kick Boxing Championship, to be held in Egypt. Officials Dr Pandit Shikha and Harry Rawat congratulated the winners. — TNS
