Local specially abled players have won two gold medals and one silver in the Special Olympics Bharat National for Badminton in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.

Aashray won gold medal in the boys' senior category and Vandana bagged gold in the girls' senior category. Tushar Arora bagged silver medal in the open event. The two gold medallists will now appear in trials meant to select teams for World Games Special Olympics 2027. The local team was accompanied by Rajpal Singh.
