Mahika Khanna stunned seventh seed Rajasthan’s Suhani Gaur in straight sets 6-3 6-2 to move into the women’s quarterfinals of the CLTA-AITA National Ranking Championship Tennis Tournament for Women at the Sector 10 CLTA Complex.

Top seed Delhi’s Tejasvi Dabas won the first set 6-3 against Priyanka Rodricks and was leading 4-0 in the second, when the latter conceded the match. Delhi’s Lakshmi Gowda also cemented her place in the next round by logging a 6-0 6-2 win over Yashika Shokeen, and fourth seed Jeetesh Kumari despite trailing 4-5 in the first set moved ahead as Durganshi Kumar forfeited the match. Third seed Riya Sachdeva defeated Jasmine Rawat 6-4 6-2.
