Officials of the Sunny Enclave police post have arrested Rajiv Sharma, a resident of Kharar, following the recovery of six boxes of liquor from his car.

Giving more information about the suspect, the Kharar City Station House Officer (SHO), Bhagwant Singh, said a case under the Excise Act was registered against Sharma.

The suspect was arrested near Nijjar Chowk and six boxes of liquor were recovered from the car he was driving, the SHO added.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
