Mohali: The police have arrested a 26-year-old man for persistently teasing and inappropriately touching a 15-year-old girl studying in Class IX in Kharar. Dr Sangeeta Jund, Project Director, Childline, said they had received a complaint that the man was persistently teasing and inappropriately touching the victim. A case of sexual harassment under Section 354-A of the IPC has been registered against the suspect at the Kharar (City) police station. The victim’s statement has been recorded in the court. TNS
