Two miscreants robbed a Mauli Jagran resident of his purse at knifepoint. The victim, Manish, said the purse contained Rs 900 and documents. The police have registered a case and initiated an investigation.

Woman held with heroin

The police have arrested a 41-year-old woman of Sector 38 under the NDPS Act. The police searched her house and seized 15.33 grams of heroin and Rs 45,050. A case has been registered at the Sector 39 police station.

Resident booked for cheating

A Behlana resident has been booked by the UT police for cheating a man of Rs 1 lakh promising a job in the ITBP. The police have registered a case against Jaswant Singh at the Sector 31 police station on a complaint filed by Prema Nand Sharma, a native of Himachal Pradesh.
