Manipur lads produced a dominant all-round performance to defeat Sikkim by 205 runs in the final of the Vinoo Mankad Trophy Plate at the Sector 16 Cricket Stadium here on Sunday.

After being put to bat, Manipur posted an imposing total of 281 in 47.4 overs as Lucky slammed a well-composed 130. Abi was the pick of the bowlers, as he claimed 3/38, while Pema claimed 2/36 for the bowling side.

In reply, Sikkim faltered against Manipur’s disciplined bowling attack. The batters bundled out for just 76 in 23 overs. Skipper Denree (35) emerged as the top scorer for his side. Yumnam Chingkhei Nganba (3/9) led the bowling attack while Zamir picked 2/7 to ensure a smooth passage for the side before lifting the title.
