Manisha Mehra clocked 1 hour and 40 minutes (1:40:00s) to win the women’s half marathon (21.1km) during the Tuffman Chandigarh Half Marathon today.

Sugandha claimed the second position with a timing of 01:55:41s, while Sukhpreet Kaur finished third (02:03:00s).

In the men’s overall event, Manjinder Singh (01:20:19s) bagged the first position, followed by Amit Kumar (01:20:35s) and Subham Gusain (01:23:55s).

In the women’s 10km event, Mandeep Kaur won the first position by completing the run in 53 minutes and 29 seconds (00:53:29). She was closely followed by Pooja Bansal (00:53:50s) and Ankita Sharma (00:53:52s). In the men’s category, Rohit (00:33:51s), Dinesh Kundu (00:36:08s) and Vineet Bhatia (00:41:26s) won top three positions.

In the women’s overall half-marathon, Manisha Mehra clocked 1 hour, 40 minutes to take first position. Sugandha (01:55:41) and Sukhpreet Kaur (02:03:00) bagged the second and third positions, respectively.

More than 2,000 runners participated across various distances and age categories in the sixth edition of the event, which started from the Capitol Complex and Open Hand Monument. Chandigarh’s Deputy Commissioner and running enthusiast Nishant Kumar Yadav flagged off the event and later completed the half-marathon himself.
